M.A. in Christian Leadership

The mission of the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership is to prepare missional leaders for various roles (church,
parachurch, marketplace, NGOs, non-profit, etc.) by attending to significant learning environments and processes
for the formation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills required for Christ-like leadership in an increasingly complex and
changing global context.

Overview

The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership program equips persons to function effectively in a variety of leadership positions. The program serves future leaders who are called to local church settings, para-church organizations, college student development or in the marketplace.

Program Level Outcomes

  • Be able to articulate a leadership philosophy informed by a Wesleyan theological framework and the social sciences.
  • Develop a skill set to read, interpret, and adapt to cultural and contextual cues.
  • Demonstrate the appropriate use of leadership and organizational competencies within particular contexts.
