Emmanuel is a fast growing church of over 300 active in worship each week located near the center of Hamilton County. Currently, Emmanuel has three Sunday worship services and will add a fourth service this September.
DUTIES
The Leader is responsible for leading worship for the 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM Sunday morning worship services and selecting appropriate music for each of the services based on the shared vision of the senior pastor. The Leader will meet at least monthly with the senior pastor to acquire a shared vision of the worship experience. The Leader will coordinate music for all four services; rehearse as needed, schedule special music as appropriate, be a catalyst to recruiting/starting junior choir and small music groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We expect the Music Coordinator/Worship Leader to have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord, as well as, alignment to our core call of "Sharing God's Hope".
Qualified candidates will have experience in leading worship in traditional, contemporary and blended styles. Candidate must be proficient both vocally and instrumentally. Candidate should be organized, efficient, detail oriented, and willing to lead and work as a team player
SALARY
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and capabilities.
This is a part-time position without benefits.
