Alumni and Friends Global Day of Prayer
On Sept. 4, 261 alumni, friends, and global partners participated in a Global Day of Prayer, a time set apart for petitioning heaven on behalf of the global Church and the kingdom building work God desires to accomplish through Asbury Seminary and its partners in ministry around the world.
This large-scale prayer event occurred, Monday, September 4 (Labor Day) and concluded in Convocation Chapel on September 5. We collectively prayed for the global Body of Christ, those who are being persecuted around the world, and for Asbury Seminary’s faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, and global partners.
Nations represented included the United States, the Philippines, India, Guatemala, Nigeria, Canada, the Central African Republic, Spain, Liberia, and Vanuatu.
