How Can We Pray for You?

Published Date: January 2, 2018

We know you all have a lot of needs.

Those of you who are out there, on the front lines, have plenty of things to pray about as you are navigating ministry to people who are hurting and broken in a sin-filled world. This season of holidays and pastoral care crises can often be one of the heavier seasons in the lives of those who care for others.

We want to help care for you!

This is why Asbury Theological Seminary’s Office of Alumni and Church Relations has created a digital prayer wall for all our alumni and friends. You can stop by to pray for the needs that are on the wall, and you can take a moment to post your own need for others to pray. We want to develop a supportive community of like-minded Christians to love and pray for one another. We want you to know that you aren’t all alone.

And our staff actively prays for these requests daily!

If you are interested in being a part of this praying community, please visit our prayer wall. From there, you can pray for others or submit your own prayer request. If you have prayed for a request that appears on the wall, please click the plus sign on that prayer request, so the person who posted it can see how many people have been praying! It is a good way to lend and receive support in what may otherwise be a quite lonely vocation sometimes. Be blessed and know that you are cared for, prayed for, and supported!

Good evening, Church. I need the entire Church to pray that I recover my box full of pre recorded Mini DV Tapes that has so many sentimental memories. I need you all to pray that I recover the Mini DV Tapes in whatever kind of way I can cause it’s hurting me that I do not have them right now. Whether from the person that stole them or he sold it to a thrift store or on a website where it will be available online for me to purchase them all back. Cause something is telling me in my heart that he did not throw them all away. Please pray that I get these Mini DV Tapes back if you can. Thank you in advance.

Living with disabled brother who believes VA is trying to kill him. Laced flu shots, etc. He is in poor health. We are being evicted for hoarding and bedbugs. Nightmare trying to deal with all this and secure housing. Just at the point I can draw retirement funds. Staring at prospect of homelessness. Lawsuit almost surely coming. If we survive, I may begin business or ministry for such troubles.

Please be praying for chapel attendance at my work. We can finally meet again but covid and other issues has significantly hurt the numbers. It has been very discouraging but I don’t feel led to leave. In short we need a revival.

Let the Son of God fulfill the Father God’s will to us(Jung-won, Ui-seop, Ha-young, Ye-young, Eun-tae, In-sook) to the end, and let all of us see this when all our bodies are alive. Do not allow us to do what we want, but do for us what the Son of God wants to do.
