MINISTRY SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

Ekklesia Atlanta Christian Fellowship located in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for a brother to serve full-time as Lead Pastor. The role seeks primarily to care for and equip the congregation for kingdom work (Ep 4:12) and to make disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19). CHILDREN’S MINISTER & AIM SOCCER LEAGUE DIRECTOR
River City United Methodist Church is a new campus of St. Matthews UMC and a new church in Louisville, Kentucky. We are seeking to hire a part-time (up to 12-20 hours per week depending on soccer season) Children’s Ministry & AIM Soccer League Director. The Children’s Minister’s main responsibilities come in preparing for and leading Sunday morning Children’s Ministry. We also have events for children throughout the year. Children’s Ministry–Basic Responsibilities: oversight of all ministries for ages 0-Fifth Grade, development and recruitment of Children’s Leadership Team & Volunteers, participation in A Time for Children ministry training, development of Ministry Action Plan for ministry to Children at River City UMC, oversight of Sunday morning Children’s Ministry ages 0-fifth grade including Splash worship experience and nursery, connection and clear communication with families established and new to River City, oversight of children’s activities at church wide function, proper management of Nursery and Children’s ministry resources, budget and materials, regular check-ins with Campus Pastor for learning, support and communication, summer experience for children like Vacation Bible School or Backyard Bible Club, Leadership Team Meetings as necessary at St. Matthews & River City Campus, oversee Safe Sanctuary Program at River City, keep strong records of children and families involved in the ministry as well as attendance and involvement, and other responsibilities assigned by the Campus Pastor.
AIM Soccer League Director—Basic Responsibilities: lead AIM Soccer Ministry Team that plans and implements a Fall & Spring Soccer League (typically September through October and April through May), recruit volunteer coaches, assistant coaches & referees, recruit sponsors and manage AIM Soccer Budget, coordinate volunteers for field maintenance including painting and set up and down for games, oversee promotion of league and advertising, oversee registration, provide clear and creative ways to link families back to our St. Matthews & River City Campuses
Basic Hours are not to exceed 20 hours per week during soccer season (February-May & July-October) and are not to exceed 12 hours per week outside of soccer season. There is one exception for week of Vacation Bible School where it is budgeted for up to 40 hours. Sunday Mornings are from 9:00-12:30 where there is 100% oversight of Nursery and workers and 100% oversight of Splash Children’s Ministry. This position directly reports to the Campus Pastor of River City UMC the Staff Parish Rep at River City UMC and Staff Parish Relations Committee at St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Two healthy small town congregations in Southeast Nebraska are in search of one shared full-time Senior pastor who will preach, teach, and lead both congregations in mission and ministry. Ministry focuses include education, community outreach, and local ecumenical connections.
The congregations are located 20 minutes apart in separate farming communities. There is a larger town that connects both farming communities where many of the members of both congregations work and live. Our heritage is UCC, but both congregations are theologically conservative evangelical. One congregation has removed itself from UCC fellowship and united with the Evangelical Association while one congregation remains in UCC fellowship. The future pastor is being asked to make minimal connections with both fellowships and local ecumenical connections.

CHURCH PLANTER IN RESIDENCE
Church of the Apostles is located in Raliegh, North Carolina and is seeking a full-time Church Planter in Residence. The role of the Church Planter in Residence is to work in harmony with the Senior Pastor, have a firm grip on the purpose, values, and strategy of Church of the Apostles, and align key leadership teams with its mission. The Church planter in Residence will serve as clergy on the church staff for 3+ years with a goal of planting a new daughter church at the end of that time. The Church Planter in Residence’s responsibilities will be laid out to facilitate planting the new church. Key ministry responsibilities include: assisting with the leadership of Sunday AM worship services, including planning the order of worship, leading prayers, administering the sacraments of Communion and baptism, and preaching, leading or assisting pastoral care in the church body, ministering to those in need of counseling and care, gain direct ministry experience by leading and participating in the major ministries of the church (these include: Youth, Children, Men, Women, Community Groups, Missions, Building, Finance), assisting with teaching in various church classes and programs (i.e. Membership, Baptism classes, Sunday School, First Communion, etc.), meeting regularly with congregants for discipling and proactive care, and participate in the Ordination process and complete by program end (unless already ordained in the Anglican church). Also during the term of the position, they will lead for one-year time, at least two major programs of the church as directed by the Senior Pastor. Key leadership responsibilities include: participating in monthly meetings with the Senior Pastor for mentoring and sharing the challenges and struggles related with leading a church, meeting regularly with a lay led Board of Advisors and Leadership coach, participating in the applicable Anglican Pastor development program, attending all Leadership Council (Vestry) meetings after the first year of employment, and recruiting, training and equipping new leaders in ministries under supervision. Key financial responsibilities include: attending all church Finance Meetings and meet with team members as needed to insure full understanding of financial issue and in year three developing a three-year financial model for the planted church. Key church planting responsibilities (year 3+ depending on timing): transitioning out of direct ministry responsibility, recruiting core team and developing Mission and Vision for the planted church, and recruiting Launch team and holding regular training and vision casting meetings.

The American Protestant Church in Bonn, Germany, seeks a qualified candidate to fill the role of Associate Pastor. The Associate Pastor’s responsibilities are in the areas of Youth, Young Adults, and Congregation-Care.
