New Education Opportunities at Asbury

Greetings from the Admissions Team!

SStudy-Online-Stay-on-Mission-imagetudy online and stay on mission. Asbury Theological Seminary is now offering several hybrid degrees, which allow students to pursue their degree without uprooting their life.
 As Asbury Seminary continues to grow, we recognize the need for multiple delivery models of education to reach students in their own contexts.  With that in mind, Asbury is launching new hybrid degrees to help meet the needs of those who cannot relocate to one of our campuses so that they can stay in ministry and pursue their education.

Master of Arts in Leadership (MAL)

  • 48 Credit Hour Degree Program
  • 12 Required Hours of Residency
  • Residency can be completed in as few as 2 trips to campus

Master of Arts in Theological Studies – Emphasis in Philosophy and Apologetics

  • 60 Credit Hour Degree Program
  • 18 Required Hours of Residency
  • Residency can be completed in as few as 3 trips to campus

Master of Arts in Theological Studies – Emphasis in Spiritual Formation

  • 60 Credit Hour Degree Program
  • 24 Required Hours of Residency
  • Residency can be completed in as few as 4 trips to campus

Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies – Emphasis in Church Planting

  • 60 Credit Hour Degree Program
  • Part-time program in cohort model
  • 4 trips to campus (1-2 weeks long) over a 3 year period
  • A minimum $4,500 scholarship included
