Employment
- On-Campus Employment
A limited number of on-campus employment opportunities are available to students. Information can be obtained from the Human Resources Office located on the second floor of the Administration Building in room M206.
- Off-Campus Employment
Just 15 miles north of Wilmore is the exciting, cosmopolitan city of Lexington, the center of Kentucky's bluegrass country and source of many employment opportunities. For students and spouses who will be working during their years at Asbury Seminary, Lexington offers excellent job opportunities within a very convenient 15-mile commute. Lexington is rated as one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, with a current population of 230,000 and a low 3% unemployment rate. This represents a tremendous job market for both students and family members.
Notices of off-campus job openings received by the Seminary are posted at off-campus employment. Student pastorates and ministerial assistantships are available to a number of seminarians. A list of contacts in the area is available from the Office of Supervised Ministries.
