The Rev. Dr. Stacy R. Minger is assistant professor of Preaching. She joined the Asbury Theological Seminary faculty in 2004 and is the 2007 recipient of the Faculty Mentoring Award.

She received an B.A. from Hope College, 1986; M.Div. (1989) and D.Min. (1998) from Asbury Theological Seminary; and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, 2004. In 1998, she received the Distinguished Dissertation Award from Asbury Seminary for her dissertation, Preaching Biblical Financial Stewardship for the Whole-Person Response.

Dr. Minger was ordained in the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church as a deacon in 1988 and as an elder in 1991. She has pastored several United Methodist churches and volunteered in several community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Christian Neighbors Food Pantry.
