Mr. Tippey is the Director of Library Services of B.L. Fisher Library: Instructional Services and Academic Technology at the Asbury Theological Seminary. His responsibilities include all aspects of library services, such as strategic planning, collections development, budget development, policy development, and public relations. Mr. Tippey supervises six areas: technical services, faculty instructional commons, information commons, archives, media commons, staff instructional support, and serves on the Information Technology Steering Committee, Curriculum Committee, Executive Committee: Wesleyan Studies Summer Seminar (WSSS), Executive Committee: Center for the Study of World Christian Revitalization Movements, Quality Enhancement Plan Committee, three Assessment task forces and Admissions Committee of Asbury Theological Seminary. He also serves as the chair of the Institutional Review Board of Asbury Theological Seminary. He has over thirteen years of experience in theological libraries, online education and seminary education.
Mr. Tippey serves as a member of the Federation of Kentucky Academic Libraries (FoKAL). He also serves as a member of the Technology in Theological Education Group Steering Committee of the Association of Theological Schools and is co-chair of the Faculty Professional Development Group.
