Apostolic Congregations

The Center for Apostolic Congregations comes alongside church planters and developers with Wesleyan networks and resources. We partner with organizations such as Fresh Expressions, Path One, and The New Thing Network to encourage spiritual entrepreneurship for the sake of God’s mission. We incubate conversations among like-minded pastoral leaders committed to living out the good news in their contexts.

The Center provides learning opportunities for Asbury Seminary students and alumni wanting to learn more about planting new movements as well as transforming existing congregations. As Asbury Seminary develops a master’s degree in Intercultural Church Planting, the Center for Apostolic Congregations joins with the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism and the School of Practical Theology to prepare students to embrace their call in the world. We also collaborate with alumni to identify candidates for internships and other learning ventures hosted by their churches.
