Job Description

The youth pastor will:
• Lead and guide the church’s middle and high school students.
• Strive to disciple students for spiritual transformation.
• Attend student functions at school and home events every week.
• Grow relationships with the education community and provide students and their families with biblical leadership.
• Develop a student ministry council with adult leaders that are to be trained by the youth pastor.
• Create a student ministry council that is to be used to help students have greater buy-in.

The Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with a strong Biblical foundation who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The youth pastor must be able to teach biblical values and truths of the Bible, align curriculum for all students, and in doing so, actively encourage spiritual growth with the goal of developing life-long faith in Christ. College degree preferred in youth ministries or Biblical studies with a willingness to embrace Reformed theology.

The Congregational Life Coordinator will be involved in direct outreach to members of the congregation, which includes visiting people in their homes and hospitals, and praying for friends and families connected to the RRUMC family. Must understand what it means to be a supporting member of a team and relate as a colleague to all staff members.  Possess high emotional intelligence that allows them to work graciously with a variety of people in various stages of life.  As this position includes managing and empowering a system as well as providing direct care, they must have the ability to prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently.

THE BORGEN PROJECT HR INTERNSHIP (REMOTE)

The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. The innovative, national campaign works to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy.

The Borgen Project is hiring HR Ambassadors who will work remotely. This human resources role will focus on national recruitment as well as teaching you the basics of HR Management, Recruiting & Selection and Staff Training & Development.

Details: This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available. The HR internship is 12-hours per week for 12-weeks.  However, if your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.

Start Date: New programs begin every month, you choose the month you wish to start.
