CAMPUS PASTOR

Exciting things are happening in the small town of Minong, WI and at The River. In 2019 we are birthing our second campus, and are looking for a young, energetic, optimistic person who feels the urgency and hope of the Gospel to join our team.

If you see the development of the local church as God’s solution for broken communities, this is a great opportunity. While we are totally open to customizing the overall job description to the giftings of the right candidate, as campus pastor you’ll collaborate with the Senior Pastor on sermon theme development (and probably preach 8-12 times per year), work with ministry leaders to ensure campus worship event is carried out well, and provide oversight leadership for one other major ministry of the church as a whole (e.g. music, 6-12 grade youth, discipleship, etc.) You’ll need to work hard, think well, and yet not take yourself too seriously. We expect the Campus Pastor to value, encourage, and launch lay people into meaningful areas of ministry so that the new ministry thrives. We are hiring a Campus Pastor so the other staff members can focus on other ministry assignments. It is mission critical for the Campus Pastor to be a self-motivated, diligent worker.

Minong is a small town, but you’ll love it here if you’re looking for a place that is beautiful and scenic, love the great outdoors, and want to settle down and raise a family in a safe and community-based environment. Sound like something you’d be interested in pursuing? Find out more information and apply here.
