Where We Are!

of $2,500,000

More than half the world’s population now lives in cities, making urban ministry even more important in spreading the Gospel. Asbury Seminary’s commitment to urban ministry is leading us to endow a Chair of Theology at our School of Urban Ministry on our Florida Dunnam campus.

Endowed chairs attract the most respected and gifted professors to teaching posts on academic campuses. At Asbury Seminary we prepare our graduates to serve in a variety of contexts, from pastors to educators and counselors, from missionaries to church planters, from denominational executives to leaders of non-profit organizations, along with many other forms of ministry. The teaching of theology in the Wesleyan tradition is a crucial aspect of that preparation.

Our goal is $2.5 million for this chair.
