ESL (English as a Second Language) is intended for all interested in improving their English (speaking, writing, or listening skills) and in finding fellowship; and all seeking to connect with Internationals.
One of our ESL instructors says:
“ESL has given me a greater understanding of people in my community. I have learned many things about the different cultures of our students. ESL has broken down barriers for myself and my neighbors allowing us to have far deeper relationships outside of class than would have been possible without our time together on Friday mornings. It has also given me a confidence in my ability to teach and equipped me for future multicultural ministry.”
ESL can help you with the following needs and much more…
- Talk to my neighbors
- Go to English bible study
- Talk to my children’s teacher
- Make American and International friends
- Take or audit classes at the Seminary
- Talk to my doctor
- Not afraid to speak English
This group meets on Friday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Community House.
