Marriage Enrichment

Seminary places unique demands on families. Often resources and time are in short supply while stress can be at a premium. We believe such conditions have the capacity to promote growth and that learning to care for yourself and your family in the midst of these demands will help prepare you for sustainable ministry in the future. We seek to provide space and facilitate support for this season of life and offer the following opportunities for marriage enrichment.

Couples Connect

Couples Connect is a monthly gathering to create space for couples to connect with each other and other couples around enrichment activities and refreshments. This year we will focus on the theme of Intentional Marriage as we provide tools to help you become more intentional in your personal life, marriage, and family.

Couples Connect is typically the 2nd Monday of each month during the semester, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., and meets in Cordelia A & B unless otherwise noted:

  • Sept 11
  • Oct 9
  • Nov 13
  • Feb 12 (at Rose Hill)
  • Mar 12

Becoming One Marriage Course

This 7-week course is led by an alumni and marriage/family therapist who teaches the skills for busy couples to use to stay connected. The cost is $45, and the group meets from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights.  Childcare is available with prior registration.
