Childcare Programs

Childcare is a wonderful aspect of the ministry that Community Formation offers to students, their families, alumni, and the seminary community.  Childcare not only allows parents to participate in various events offered by Community Formation and other departments, but it also allows space for children to take part in their own spiritual formation during their time at Asbury Theological Seminary.  We value the gift of working with your children during your family’s time at Asbury Theological Seminary.

We offer childcare for children, ages 8-weeks through 11-years-old, the following programs:

Childcare Policy

We provide childcare in the Kalas Village Community House and the Student Center Little Gym for numerous Community Formation events. In order to utilize childcare, we ask that you fill out a Child Information Sheet at the start of the academic year. This will provide us with specific information about your child so we can provide the best care, as well as appropriate contact information.

Childcare Guidelines:

  • Drop off begins 15 minutes before and pick up ends 15 minutes after the event’s official end time.
  • All childcare workers are thoroughly vetted with a background check.
  • When childcare is taking place in the community house, only approved childcare workers are allowed to enter the building for safety.

Come Work with Us!

If you are interested in working in childcare, please fill out the application and background check form. Submit the forms to the Community Formation office to volunteer.
