About Kentucky Campus
The Kentucky Campus of Asbury Theological Seminary is celebrating its eighth decade of service to the community and the world as we seek to fulfill our original goal of preparing men and women for Christian service in ministry. God has been faithful to use this institution for His glory and His purposes in the world and we seek to be obedient to Him.
Since He called us into existence in 1923, Asburians have speckled the globe in service from the local church to unreached people groups on continents far away. Our community consists of students, faculty and staff from 45 countries and nearly every state in the nation, embodying the cultural, racial and ecclesial diversity of the Kingdom. Asbury alumni serve in 22 of the 24 time zones and on every continent but Antarctica.
From the mission fields of remote villages to our own neighborhood, the community of Asbury has endless opportunities for ministry as an integral part of ministerial preparation. From the urban context of Lexington with inner-city and cross-cultural refugee populations, to the rural country landscape of Jessamine County, Kentucky students are exposed to a variety of ministry opportunities while pursuing their theological education.
We welcome you into our community and extend an invitation to experience more of life at Asbury through the information on this website and the opportunity to visit campus. As you discover more about life at Asbury you will be able to perceive the amazing ways that God has chosen to use the people who attend, and have been sent from, this campus into the world for His glory and praise.
