B. L. Fisher Library

The B. L. Fisher Library on the Kentucky Campus

With nearly half-a-million books, B.L. Fisher Library is committed to being an academic center for learning, research, and writing for the entire Asbury Seminary community. From historical primary resources in our Special Collections and Archives, to forward thinking electronic resources and digital publishing through First Fruits Press, the library seeks to make all types of information available and easy to access.

Recognizing that education can occur anywhere, Asbury Theological Seminary is at the forefront of digitization, with a project aiming to scan almost 22,000 works into PDF and other formats to fit today’s highly globalized world. Material from our rich heritage and Wesleyan-Holiness tradition to modern cutting-edge dissertation research can now be found on computers and mobile devices in any part of the globe at any time of day. If we do not own the material, our efficient Library Loan services can help find and retrieve the perfect item to complete your research goals.
