TRANSFER CREDIT & ADVANCED STANDING

(Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degrees only)

Want to transfer hours from another seminary or university graduate degree program into a degree program at Asbury Seminary?

Think you could qualify for Advanced Standing based on your undergraduate coursework?

If so, then please send your request to the Office of the Registrar and note the following procedure:

  1. Make a formal request by email to registrar@asburyseminary.edu
  2. Potential ATS students - send a copy of your transcripts and course syllabi to the address below.
  3. Current/Admitted ATS students - your transcripts are on file already - send course syllabi to the address below.
  4. Time restrictions - course work must have been completed within:
    • M.Div. = within the last 10 years
    • M.A. = within the last 7 years
