Transfer Credit Information
If you have submitted your application to Asbury Theological Seminary, or are a current student that has recently completed graduate credit at another institution, you may be eligible for transfer credit. Graduate-level courses completed within the past ten years having earned a C letter grade or above may be considered for Master of Arts students and Master of Divinity students.
Transfer credit is not automatically applied to your Asbury Seminary record upon or after enrollment. If you have applied to Asbury Theological Seminary and would like consideration of transfer credits, please send your completed Transfer Credit Preview Request Form to email@example.com indicating your intention to apply for transfer credit review and an initial viability of transfer credit report will be sent to in 4-8 weeks, including any additional instructions and request for documentation necessary for completing the transfer credit review process.
For further information about the transfer policies and procedures at Asbury Theological Seminary, please see the Academic Section of the Academic Catalog under the heading Transfer Students or download the “Transfer Credit Policy” handout.
Students who wish to transfer from Asbury Theological Seminary to another institution must be aware that the transfer credit is at the discretion of the accepting institution, and that it is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether or not credits will be accepted by another institution of the student’s choice.
