Tulsa Extension Site
Asbury Seminary’s Tulsa, Oklahoma extension site is in a growing and thriving area of Oklahoma’s second-largest city. Tulsa is big enough to offer all the cultural and recreational benefits of a big city, but it’s small enough that it offers the relational charm of a small city. The Tulsa Site is located in the heart of the heartland of America, and it’s easily accessible for students in parts of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and throughout the Central United States.
We are excited to announce that our Tulsa extension site location in Venue 68 is being renovated. Tulsa hybrid classes will meet in the Asbury United Methodist Church Students building on the north side of Asbury United Methodist Church until the renovation is complete in Spring 2022. Asbury UMC is located in one of the most vibrant commercial-retail centers in the state, which means the Tulsa Site is just minutes from dozens of hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and other types of retail businesses.
As an extension site, Asbury Seminary Tulsa is a host venue for hybrid courses that support the Master of Divinity degree and Master of Arts degrees in Ministry, Leadership, and Spiritual Formation. Schedule a visit today!
Hybrid Courses at Asbury Seminary
Hybrid courses combine the convenience of online education with the deeper relational connection of a classroom education. It’s the best of both worlds! With hybrid courses, half of the course content is delivered online and the other half is delivered in one or two intensive onsite sessions—where you’ll gather with the professor and other students enrolled in the course at our Kentucky campus or one of our extension sites in Orlando, Memphis, Tulsa, or Colorado Springs. Each onsite intensive session allows you to have face-to-face interactions with faculty and students. They generally convene from Thursday to Saturday.
