Auditor Information
Auditing Classes
Auditing is defined as studying without credit. We register several types of audits at Asbury Theological Seminary, from a current student audit, to a non-student audit, to an Asbury Theological Seminary graduate audit. All forms of audit require professor approval prior to registration. Most on-campus courses are available for audit; courses not available for audit include ExL Courses and private instruction courses.
If you are interested in auditing a class, complete the appropriate audit form available from the Registrar’s Office (all forms can be found on Asbury Connect here or by contacting the Registrar’s Office directly.) and obtain the professor’s signature on the form. Once complete, submit the signed form to the Registrar’s Office for registration.
Graduate Auditor Information
Graduates of the Seminary may register to audit on-campus classes by completing the graduate auditor form available upon request from the Registrar’s office at registrar@asburyseminary.edu. Registration is dependent upon space available in the class and instructor permission and will be completed no later than the first week of classes. The audit will appear on the student’s transcript. Credit may not be received at a later date for hours taken by audit. There is a small audit fee for graduate auditors.
