This historic, 3,200-member, downtown church is well-known across the region for its missional heart and collaborative work with its 52 local and international mission partners. COMMUNITY MINISTRY FELLOW AT LYDIA HOUSE (CINCINNATI, OH)
Job Summary
The Community Ministry Fellow will work to enrich the spiritual life of the community. Through designing regular worship events and integrating liturgical practice into everyday life, they will provide a framework to help guests, volunteers, and staff engage and explore their spiritual beliefs. They will also contribute to the administrative work of volunteer and donation management, as well as create content for communication projects, combining the work of non-profit management and pastoral care.
Essential Functions:
• Provide emotional support to women in crisis
• Develop liturgical practices for community spiritual engagement as well as regular worship events
• Support the weekly religious education program
• Manage and recruit volunteers
• Create meaningful volunteer engagement opportunities
• Accept and distribute donations
• Create content for Lydia’s House blog, newsletter, and email
• Transport families to essential appointments
• Prepare meals for large groups
• Maintain shelter spaces through regular cleaning and tidying
• Plan and execute gatherings designed to build community
• Work with supervisor on a long-term project to enhance the shelter or aftercare experience
Other Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Dorothy Day fellows are asked to live in Christian community with others that share their faith commitments, in a Lydia’s House owned property, adjacent to homeless guest living quarters. Expectations include participation in daily prayer, weekly Bible study, monthly meeting with a spiritual director, and membership in a local congregation with weekly attendance, support of a weekly children’s faith formation program, and personal practices of prayer and discernment.

As a Navy Chaplain, your job spans a broad range of duties. You will support fellow service members during their most joyful and most difficult moments. Your responsibilities might be to:

SENIOR PASTOR AT BUCKLIN BIBLE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH (BUCKLIN, KS)
Pastoral Preferences: Minimum of 5 years service, able to reach multiple age groups with the gospel and willing to participate in community, school and family events. TRANSITIONAL SENIOR PASTOR AT FIRST METHODIST CHURCH OF COUSHATTA, LA
First Methodist Church of Coushatta, Louisiana is looking for a Pastor. Our current Pastor has retired after faithfully serving the Methodist church for over 37 years. We have recently disaffiliated with the United Methodist Conference. In the future, a decision will be made on whether to remain independent or affiliate with a Wesleyan based conference. This is an interim and transitional position, whose term will be completed if/when a newly designated lead pastor assumes their duties. The Transitional Pastor is eligible to apply for a permanent lead pastor position. Coushatta is a town in, and the parish seat of, Red River Parish in north Louisiana. It is situated on the east bank of the Red River. We are approximately 45 miles south of Shreveport on U.S. Highway 71. First Methodist Church of Coushatta desires a Pastor that lives as a committed disciple of Christ and a student of the Bible. The Pastor must love people and relate to people of all ages and from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRIES AT CORNERSTONE CHURCH (AUBURN, AL)
We are looking for a youth ministry director who will develop and implement a strategy to multiply youth-aged (6th-12th grade) disciples of Jesus Christ. We are praying to find someone with a heart to see students fall in love with Jesus and with the skills to grow youth ministry. Cornerstone is a contemporary, soon to be non-denominational church (we disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church in May, future affiliation options include the Global Methodist Church and the Foundry Network), planted in 2000, with an average Sunday morning attendance of around 500. Around half of our adults participate in small groups and one third of those who attend on a Sunday morning are under the age of 12. We are considering expanding our facilities to incorporate space for youth-aged students. The youth minister will shape this new development which is still in early discussions. There are currently six full-time staff with more than ten part-time staff. The youth minister would be a member of the ministry leadership team that implements the mission of equipping followers of Jesus to live out their calling. We are located in a growing college town with a great community spirit.

Title: Director of Older Elementary Ministries

Summary: As an active member of the Children’s Ministry Team, this position will be responsible for all ministries directed at 3rd through 5th graders. Additionally, this position will also lead and coordinate the Wednesday Night Elementary programming. As part of the
Children’s Ministry Team, this position will also assist with other projects and events as assigned.

- Assists in planning for Children’s Ministry events, including teacher trainings, VBS, Candy in the Courtyard, Family Advent and the Easter egg hunt
