We are a small independent Holiness church and are seeking a Pastor that is Biblically grounded in Wesleyan/Arminian Theology. We are searching for a servant leader that has a love for reaching hearts and discipling people for Christ’s Kingdom. We desire a pastor that can exhort, challenge and encourage the congregation.
The pastor will be expected to lead the service and preach on Sunday mornings. We prefer the pastor to be available to help with Wednesday evening youth ministry.

Position Summary:
The Director of Next Generation Ministries at Common Ground is a pivotal role responsible for guiding and nurturing the youth and young adults in our community. This position involves developing and implementing programs that encourage spiritual exploration, personal growth, and social engagement among youth and young adults in our congregation and community. Hours and Compensation:
32 hours per week and compensated at a yearly salary of $40,000 – $45,000. Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with youth and young adults in our community
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging ministry program for youth and young adults, integrating spiritual, educational, social activities, and service opportunities.
- Cultivate a safe and supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, ask questions, and build a strong sense of community.
- Lead regular studies, discussion groups, retreats, special events, service projects, and outreach activities tailored to the unique needs and interests of youth and young adults.
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship to youth and young adults, offering guidance and support as they navigate life challenges and spiritual questions.
- Provide welcoming, inviting, and safe space for youth and young adults in our community who identify as LGBTQIA+
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with youth and young adult ministry activities.

Qualifications:
- Highly relational individual with energy and enthusiasm for this work.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong understanding of progressive Christian theology and a commitment to social justice and inclusivity.
- Proven experience working with youth and young adults in a ministry or educational setting. Enjoys spending time with youth and young adults.

PASTOR AT NAHUNTA FRIENDS CHURCH (WAYNE COUNTY, NC)

Nahunta Friends Meeting is accepting applications for the Senior Pastor position at our church.
Nahunta Friends is a rural church in northwestern Wayne County, North Carolina. We are an independent evangelical, conservative Quaker church. You can learn more about who we are on our church’s website (nahuntafriends.org). The job description can also be found on the church website.
Nahunta Friends has many members, including young adults, students, families with children, empty nesters, and seasoned adults. Some families have been attending Nahunta Friends for generations. We have active Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and youth groups. Nahunta Friends is very active in local outreach and foreign missions. Members are encouraged to learn about God, grow in their relationship with Christ, and serve others in love.

Primary Function
To promote the work of God’s Kingdom at Nahunta through leadership, pastoral care, and the ministry of the Word.
Requirements
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, having accepted Him as Savior and Lord.
- Should have previous training and/or experience as a pastor in a church setting. Must be familiar with and committed to the Church Core Beliefs as noted on our Nahunta Friends Church Facebook page.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Prayerfully work with Ministry and Counsel and Monthly Meeting to establish and promote a Spirit-led vision and goals for Nahunta.
- Support and build up present leadership in the church through prayer and encouragement while mentoring other potential leaders.
- Model a servant yet visionary style of leadership to the congregation.
- Be available to committee chairpersons and others who function in leadership to help them develop in their area of ministry.
- Maintain open communication with staff, leadership, and congregation about all matters related to the life of the church.
- Maintain easy accessibility and availability to all congregants.
- Model an evangelistic ministry and lifestyle seeking to lead others to Christ and to train others to do so as well.
- Leadership is based primarily on the teachings of Scripture but also in accordance with Faith and Practice and in the spirit of Friends’ testimonies.
- In consultation with Ministry and Counsel, plan, lead, and preach during weekly worship services.

- Must express equal care for each member of the church family.
- Participate in visitation of shut-ins, hospital, nursing homes, and other crisis
- situations while helping to develop ministries that will provide adequate care to a growing church family in times of need.
- Provide spiritual direction through listening, prayer, and counsel to members who desire to give attention to their spiritual lives.
- Attempt to provide encouragement and comfort to the weak and struggling persons in the meeting.
- Develop and participate in the discipling of new believers in Christ. Realizing that the pastor cannot care for and disciple every member at the same level, effort should be given to equipping other members to become disciple-makers, mentors, and caregivers who can in turn help others mature in faith. Support and development of small group ministries that nurture individual growth and personal ministry.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality of members as they share personal burdens and concerns.
- Provide counseling in personal, spiritual, premarital, marital, family and grief situations. Maintain strict confidentiality in all counseling matters. Recognize the need to refer difficult matters to professionals where appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Ministry and Counsel which are consistent with the ministry of the meeting.
- Mentor other staff members when/if applicable.
- Ministry of the Word
- Must believe in the authority of Scripture and be convinced of the Bible’s relevance to the life and faith of the Christian.
- Should provide ample time for prayer, study of Scripture, and meditation in preparation for teaching and preaching ministry.
- Prayerfully seek to bring Biblical and practical messages to congregation each week.
- Is sensitive during Open Worship to the Holy Spirit’s leading so that there may be opportunity for free expression of the Lord’s message through the congregation’s voice.
- Personal
- Devote ample time per week to meet the needs of the church, while also setting aside time for one’s own spiritual growth.
- Two weeks paid vacation each year with the understanding of giving ministry and counsel ample time to fill the pulpit.

Position Overview:
The Foundry Church is looking for a Family Life Pastor to join our team. The expansion and enhancement of our Kids and Student Ministries are reliant on the dedication, engagement, and intentional oversight of a Family Life Pastor. We are looking for someone to continue the expansion of the ministries by engaging the children and students on age-appropriate levels through play, discussions, activities, and events. The Family Life Pastor should be able to connect biblical lessons with interpersonal skills so that children and students learn how to live out biblical morals.
This highly collaborative role within our organization ensures that the entire Family Life team points children, students, volunteers, and parents towards a better life within God’s intended reality. Church Leadership Structure:
The Foundry Church has a vertical organizational structure. The Elders oversee the Leadership Team (the Lead and Executive Pastors). The Leadership Team oversees the Pastors (including this position). This means the Family Life Pastor has the support of both the Elders and the Leadership Team who are there to grow and guide them.
The Foundry Church has a circular operational structure. Each Pastor works collaboratively with the Leadership Team to actualize the vision in the lives of our members. This means the Family Life Pastor, alongside the other pastors, will attend monthly elder meetings, have a voice in the vision, give feedback for sermon series, and give advice for churchwide events. Each Pastor of the Foundry Church has a voice in the direction of the church.

Springfield Oaks is located in downtown Springfield, Georgia, a growing rural community just northeast of Savannah with a long history of faith and service. Our pastors and musicians lead us in 2 different services of worship each Sunday- a praise & worship expression and a more traditional form- averaging 275 in attendance each week. Our Global Methodist body has a heart for serving others through missions, in-house and abroad. Student ministry is a big priority with 25-35 active youth and a thriving children’s program. We also have 15-20 active college students, most of whom are products of our youth and children’s programs. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Director of Youth Ministry. The Director of Youth Ministry must be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ, who is grounded upon God’s Word and seeks to be led by the Holy Spirit in ministry with youth and their families. They must embrace the doctrines and teachings of Wesleyan theology and the Global Methodist Church.
Essential Responsibilities
- Create, plan and lead dynamic Sunday evening worship and Bible Study programs that facilitate spiritual growth of attendees
- Plan and lead Bible Studies for Middle and High School small groups
- Coordinate and lead Youth Special Events
- Build dynamic relationships in support of youth programs and ministry- students, parents, staff, community, etc.
- Work with the Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Children’s Director, and Educational Committee to coordinate the Youth Ministry into the total ministry of Springfield Oaks Church.
Minimum Position Requirements
- Passion and calling for communicating the love of Christ to students from various backgrounds and beliefs
- Passionately follows Christ and feels a calling from God to serve in scripture-based youth ministry
- Readily available to youth (attendance at extra-curricular events, visitation, and times of crisis, etc.)
- Effectively partners with youth, parents, other church staff, volunteers, and small group leaders
- Excellent communication skills, including writing skills and oral presentation skills, in both small and large group worship environments
- Strong technology skills and experience including ability to effectively disseminate mass electronic communications using various platforms, calendaring, and basic graphic design
- College undergraduate degree and training in youth ministry, or a combination of equivalent experience and training
- Must be willing to submit to and clear criminal background check and driving record background check
