The recent national election has heightened and underscored the need for the church to embody kingdom values in the midst of a national crisis. We do not know what the future may bring. We are facing challenging times as a nation: O God deliver me, make haste to help me.

Alumni are invited to celebrate the ongoing heritage of healing prayer, spiritual formation, and renewal at Asbury Theological Seminary. Along with the theological and practical wisdom of Dr. Judith Macnutt, co-founder of Christian Healing Ministries, attendees will hear stories of healing and renewal from members of the seminary community both past and present.

Asbury Theological Seminary announces Tim Johnson, M.Div. ’01, as the 2016 Distinguished Alumni of the Year. Each year, Asbury Seminary recognizes a graduate whose ministry exemplifies faithfulness, servant-leadership, sacrifice, holiness and Kingdom vision.

We have exciting news about Estes Chapel that we want to share with you: Estes Chapel is getting a facelift!

Estes Chapel is so much more than a building to many; it is a place where people come and fellowship with the Lord, celebrate milestones in faith and life, preach with the aid of the Holy Spirit, and much, much more.

I have concluded that my primary vocational calling in life is to learn, lead, and serve as an instrument to advance Jesus Christ’s Great Commission challenge to go and make disciples by “teaching them to obey” all that He commanded. I see my vocation as a “head-first” calling, anchored to the belief that before the heart can be purified and hands equipped for sacrificial service, the mind must be renewed.
