Restoration Retreats

Published Date: February 25, 2016

Asbury continues to offer personal retreats for alumni and Christian workers at our Wilmore, Kentucky campus. These retreats are designed to bring healing and restoration to the whole person: body, mind, emotions,
and spirit. Each one is personally designed based on your needs and how you feel you can be best served.

In 2015, Asbury hosted 27 such retreats. Read some of the comments from those who retreated.

“My goal was to have some soaking time with the Lord, prayer over issues in my life and ministry time with prayer. I spent hours soaking in the Lord’s presence and He met me there. I also met with Steve Seamands. A great place to stay covered in prayer. The prayer resources are the best and the atmosphere was uplifting. I had space to allow the Lord to work.”

“Thank you and all the ones who helped me. I do not remember a time when I was ‘mobbed’ by the Holy Spirit like that. I could hardly contain it all at Chapel on Wednesday.”

“I came away from this retreat with a definite sense of affirmation of some of the recent changes I’ve made in my life.”

“As much as there is a ministry of presence there is also a ministry of absence. (It is good for the church that I go away.) The fact that everything is cared for on such a retreat is a great blessing. After it’s planned, you just show up.”
