The 6th Annual Wesley Waddle 10K/5K will be on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 8 a.m. at Asbury Theological Seminary. This year we’re incredibly excited to partner with the globally renowned END IT Movement!
With an estimated 20-45 million people enslaved throughout the world, our goal is to join the freedom fighters by bringing awareness to the movement on race day and beyond. From the young to the old, we believe in fighting for their lives, their stories, and their futures. On race day, you’re encouraged to run with a red X on your hand to symbolize that you’re running for freedom. Together, we can END IT!
Awards will be given to to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall winners and 1st place per age group! The age groups are: ages 9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-55; 50-54; 55-59; 60+. All participants receive a performance shirt, a medal and post-race bagel breakfast!
There is a $25 entry fee for the 5K and a $30 entry fee for the 10K. Asbury Affiliates (ATS & AU students, staff, faculty and their families) receive a $5 discount!
If you are local, from now until race day, those who sign up to participate in the run can attend any fitness classes being offered for FREE. Here is the schedule below:
