Bishop Lindsey Davis will be speaking in Estes Chapel
on the Wilmore Campus at 11am on Oct 29, 2013
Bishop Davis is the Bishop of the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Prior to serving the Kentucky Annual Conference, he served as Bishop of the North Georgia Area for twelve years. Bishop Davis has also served on the following: General Council on Ministries (1996-2000); as a Director of the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM), and President of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) (2000-2004); and on the General Council of Finance and Administration (GCFA) from 2004-2012, where he was the President from 2008-2012. He was a founding member of Path 1, our denominational new church planting emphasis, where he served on the board from 2004-2012. Currently he serves as the chair of the Audit Committee of the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM), as the Vice President of Emory University Board of Trustees, and a member of the Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center Board of Emory University.
