ATS ALUM WRITES BOOKS AND OFFERS COURSES THROUGH HIS NON-PROFIT

Stephen Burnette (M.Div. ’16) began Soul Fitness Ministries as a student on the Florida Campus in 2012. Twelve years later, SFM was established as a non-profit, and Stephen began publishing the books he’d been compiling. You can check out the website store with the more than 20 books he has published HERE.

Coach Burnette has also, by the grace of God, created some helpful courses for use in ministry settings. One course is called Soul Fitness 4 Kids, a spiritualized P.E. program that helps students increase their soul fitness, memorize scripture, and learn valuable information during each class. The second course is The World Revival Prayer Guide, which is a curriculum that systematically activates evangelism, worldwide. Both courses are multi-seasonal and help participants memorize scripture, grow in holiness, and include others in their community on their journey.

Please be praying for Stephen and his wife and son, as they just answered the Lord’s call to move and minister in California. For more information, you can visit SFM’s website, or contact Stephen via phone (404-629-7263) or email (soulfitnessinfo@gmail.com).

ATS ALUM AND HIS WIFE PUBLISH A DEVOTIONAL BOOK

Rev. Dr. Lee Strawhun (M.Div. ’85, D.Min. ’98) and his wife, Beth, recently wrote Journey Trails: Devotionals for the RV Journey. The description is intriguing:

Journey Trails: Devotionals for the RV JourneyRecreational vehicles of all styles and models offer the RVer a lifestyle of adventure, memories, and joy, along with flat tires, mechanical difficulties, and a knowledge curve that sometimes seems to go straight to the moon. In this devotional book written by a couple of full-timers, you’ll find encouragement and laughter as you reminisce about your RV journeys, whether you’re full-time or a weekend traveler. The husband-and-wife authors share devotionally where God has led them to see things with fruitful and humble contentment. Believing that every reader has a story, there is room to add your stories, thoughts, and prayers following each devotion.
