FOR RETIRED ASBURY THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY ALUMNI AND THEIR SPOUSES

The Shepherd’s Fund was created to be a blessing to retired Christian clergy and their surviving spouses by helping with legitimate medical and major life stage expenses. As the number of applications has grown, we have carefully and prayerfully reviewed how to ensure the funds remain sustainable, consistent, and fair so that we can continue serving as many eligible families as possible. Effective immediately, the following limits will be in place.

• The maximum number of applications is three years, and the maximum grant is $10,000
  per year.
• The total lifetime maximum that any individual may receive from the Shepherds Fund is
  $25,000.
• Anyone who has already received a total of $25,000 in Shepherd’s Fund grants is no
  longer eligible to reapply.
