BRODERSON, Dr. Joe Thomas, MD, (NG), 66, husband of Barbara Johnson Broderson, passed away at his home, Sun, Sep 1, 2013. Born in Franklin, KY, he was the son of the late Louis Henry and Lucy Mae Broderson. A graduate of the UK College of Medicine, Asbury Theological Seminary and Duke University, Dr. Broderson practiced Christian Psychiatry in central Kentucky. He enjoyed playing Rook, collecting coins and guns, and was an avid UK basketball fan. In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Joy Hosley (Justin), Versailles, Sarah Elizabeth Graddy (Hawthorne), Raleigh, NC and Caitlin Christine Broderson, Versailles; brothers, John Paul Broderson, MD (Marcey), Frankfort and Alvin Benton Broderson, Ph.D. (Ann), Lexington; and two precious grandchildren, Maggie and Oliver. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lee Broderson.
HILL – Rev. David L. (1955, BD), 83, passed away on February 23, 2013. He was the beloved husband of 58 years of Ellen H. (nee Schneider) Hill; loving father of Stephen D. (Ginger) Hill and Lorrie A. (Michael) Conteras; cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; caring brother of Shirley Hill and predeceased by two brothers; also survived by nieces and nephews.
YOUNG, John Riley, (NG) 64, Allensville, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at his home of natural causes. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Latham Funeral Home, Elkton. A private burial will be at later date. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time for the service Saturday at the funeral home. A native of Clarksville, he was born March 22, 1949, the son of Richard Browder and Jessie Nell Giles Young, Allensville. He was a retired United Methodist minister and had attended Asbury Seminary. In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Laura Young, Fort Wayne, Ind., and a brother, David (Stacey) Young, Allensville.
