Church and Community Description:
Lincolnton Methodist Church is a vibrant, medium-sized congregation of the Global Methodist Church located approximately 30 miles north of Augusta, Georgia—home of the Masters Golf Tournament. Our church is deeply committed to Christ and is experiencing steady, healthy growth. More than simply describing ourselves as “welcoming,” Lincolnton Methodist Church seeks to live out God’s love in tangible ways. That spirit is felt the moment you walk through our doors on Sunday morning.
Our congregation is increasingly made up of young families, and this exciting season of growth has created the need to add an Associate Pastor to our ministry team. We are seeking a pastor who feels called to walk alongside families, nurture disciples, and help guide our church into its next chapter.
To support this growth, Lincolnton Methodist Church has embarked on a thoughtful three-phase expansion plan:
  1. Phase One (Completed): A home adjacent to our Fellowship Hall was purchased and remodeled to serve as administrative offices, freeing up two large rooms for much-needed Sunday School and classroom space.
  2. Phase Two (In Progress): Expansion of on-site parking on previously purchased property.
  3. Phase Three (In Planning): Construction of a Christian Life Center on church-owned property. A task force is currently gathering data to discern the needs of both the church and the surrounding community, helping shape the vision and design of this future space.
Lincolnton is a wonderful town of approximately 1,700 residents, known for its warm hospitality, Southern charm, and year-round community events. Lincoln County has a population of about 8,000 and is home to a school system that actively welcomes and encourages pastoral involvement.
The county’s eastern border is Clarks Hill Lake (also known as Lake Strom Thurmond), offering more than 400 miles of shoreline and earning the nickname “Georgia’s Freshwater Coast.” Growth in the county is being fueled by new home construction and families relocating to this beautiful recreation area. Outdoor activities and community life are central to the culture of Lincoln County.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pastor who desires to serve in a growing church, engage meaningfully with families, and minister in a supportive, community-oriented environment.

PASTOR AT FELLOWSHIP BIBLE CHURCH (CASTLETON, VT)

Fellowship Bible Church is a small independent evangelical church in the heart of the Green Mountains in the lovely town of Castleton, Vermont. We have been provided a beautiful church through God’s abundant blessings and loyal followers of Christ. We currently have a range of about 45-65 people attending our Sunday service. We are presently without a pastor and looking for a servant of the Lord who loves and preaches only the Word of God. He must be a good shepherd of the flock who cares for each and every sheep. We are also seeking men to preach a Bible based sermon on a Sunday while we wait patiently and hopefully for God to bring us our permanent pastor.

Our Statement of Faith:
1. We believe that the original manuscripts of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the completely perfect Word of God. We further believe that inspiration, inerrancy, and infallibility extend to every part of the Scriptures and to the very words of the original writings. The Bible is God’s complete and final revelation of Himself to men, and that it is the supreme authority in all matters pertaining to Christian faith and life. (II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:20-21)
2. We believe in one God, infinitely perfect, existing eternally and co-equally in three persons–God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:16-17)
3. We believe that Jesus Christ ever existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and was born of the virgin Mary. We believe Jesus Christ is, in one person, true God and true man. We believe He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures, arose bodily from the dead, ascended bodily into heaven, and is at the right hand of the Father where He now serves as our High Priest and Advocate. (Isa. 48:12-17; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23, John 1:1-14; Luke 24:46; Heb. 4:14; I John 2:2; Heb. 8:1)
4. We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative, vicarious substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood and resurrection from the dead. We believe that our Lord ascended into heaven, that He is now seated at the right-hand of the Father, and that He is our high priest and divine advocate with the Father. We believe that by His finished work on the cross and His unceasing ministry of intercession in glory, Jesus Christ has procured for every believer eternal redemption, eternal salvation and everlasting life. (I Cor. 15:3-4; Rom. 5:9; John 3:16;Mark 16:19; Heb. 9:12; Heb. 5:9; Heb. 7:25; II Cor. 5:21; I Pet. 2:24)
5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and that He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. We believe He regenerates the sinner by the Word of God, that He permanently indwells the church and the body of each believer, that He seals, enlightens, instructs, and guides every born-again person, and that he is the efficient power for godly living, Christian service and spiritual worship. We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are at that time born again and at the same time baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ, which is His Church. The Bible teaches no other baptism by the Holy Spirit, but teaches the believer’s daily need of cleansing and filling by the Holy Spirit. (John 16:7-15; John 3:5-7; John 14:16, 17, 26: Eph. 4:30; I Cor. 12)
6. We believe that Satan is a person, a fallen angel, who is the embodiment of all evil. He is the enemy of the triune God and of all mankind, soliciting the believer to sin, accusing him in the presence of God, and striving to keep the unbeliever from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. He will finally be consigned to the Lake of Fire forever. (Isa. 14:12-15)
7. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God by His direct act and not from previously existing forms of life; that all men are descended from the historic Adam and Eve who were the first parents of the entire human race; that mankind sinned in Adam and thereby suffered not only physical death, but also spiritual death (which is separation in the case of those who reach moral responsibility) and became sinners in thought, word, and deed. (Gen. 1:27; Rom. 5:23; Rom.3:23)
8. We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God for eternity. (John 1:12; John 3:16; John 3:36; John 5:24; I Pet. 1:23)
9. We believe the two ordinances that Christians are commanded to observe are water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. While recognizing that water baptism has no saving merit, it is our conviction that after one is saved, water baptism is the next step in order to portray to the world the believer’s union with Christ. It is our conviction that the Scriptural method of water baptism is immersion. We believe that Jesus Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper to commemorate His death until He comes. We further believe that water baptism by immersion is to be observed only one time and is a sign of identification and a testimony to newness of life, but the Lord’s Supper is to be observed often as a memorial of the broken body and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rom. 6:4; I Cor. 11:23-33)
10. We believe in the blessed hope, which is the personal, pre-millennial, pre-tribulation and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which is also known as the Rapture of the Church. We believe in the personal, visible and glorious return of Christ to the earth with His saints at the end of the Great Tribulation. This phase of His coming is known as the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will then establish His millennial kingdom and will reign for one thousand years. (Tit. 2:13; I Thess. 4:13-18; John 14:3; Acts 1:11)
a. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust, the saved to everlasting life and joy in the presence of the Lord and the unsaved to everlasting judgment and conscious punishment. (Phil. 3:21; I Thess. 4:16; Rev. 20:5; Rev. 20:15; II Thess. 1:8-9)
12. We believe that the God who makes no mistakes wonderfully and immutably created each individual as male and female according to His good pleasure and His perfect plan for each individual. We believe that God designed sexual intimacy to be enjoyed exclusively within the marriage union between a man and a woman, and is to be used in the “joining” process between the husband and wife. We believe that any attempt to change or bypass God’s intentions in the area of sexual relationships will cause unforeseen emotional and psychological trauma in the short term and long term, as with any sin, and must be avoided. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Psalm 139:13-16; Leviticus 18:22-24; Romans 1:27, 31-32)
13. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including unborn babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. (Psalm 139)
