ATS ALUM PUBLISHES THE MINISTRY TAPESTRY

Rev. Dr. Simon Thiongo (D.Min. ’19) recently published The Ministry Tapestry: Personal Reflections on Spiritual Formation. The description from Amazon is as follows:

This book is a singular and deeply personal account of the author’s spiritual journey, shaped by introspection, research, literary exploration, and guidance from spiritual mentors. It shares profound personal encounters with the divine, reflecting the challenges and contemplations involved in spiritual formation. While the author does not claim full spiritual maturity, he offers practical insights for those seeking to embody Christlike qualities and deepen their relationship with God.

Unlike other works that present only theory, this book provides a systematic approach to daily life in communion with the Lord. Drawing on over two decades of ministry experience, the author offers practical methods for personal growth, transformative leadership, and meaningful change. Central to this journey is the Rule of Life, a spiritual practice that fosters maturity, service, and closeness to God. Readers are invited to embrace the author’s example, pursue personal transformation, and collaboratively aspire to cultivate Christlike character.
