Discover the art of songwriting at Asbury Theological Seminary’s Songwriting Retreat! Held twice a year – each fall and spring – this retreat invites you to step into a creative community alongside professional, seasoned songwriters. Together, you’ll explore everything from crafting unforgettable melodies and powerful lyrics, to the dynamics of co-writing, chord progressions, and writing songs that truly connect.
Past retreats have featured gifted songwriters such as Caleb Culver (co-writer of “Reckless Love”) and Rachel Wilhelm (co–writer of “Psalm 13”).
This fall, we’re excited to welcome special guest Justin Rizzo as our featured speaker and songwriter. Join us on Asbury’s Wilmore Campus, November 7-9, 2025, for a weekend designed to inspire, equip, and ignite your creativity.
