Asbury Theological Seminary Professor Dr. Kenneth Collins Publishes New Book in Wesleyan Studies
Abingdon Press has just published a new book by Dr. Kenneth J. Collins (Asbury Theological Seminary) and Dr. Jason E. Vickers (United Theological Seminary). The Sermons of John Wesley: A Collection for the Christian Journey is a new and engaging collection of sermons that embraces the historic 44 sermons that John Wesley approved, plus the 8 more of the North American collection (52 sermons) and to this is added 8 sermons, carefully chosen, to fill things out for contemporary interests resulting in a grand total of sixty sermons.
Asbury Theological Seminary and the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies Form New Partnership
On June 24th, 2013 Asbury Theological Seminary and the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS) entered a multi-faceted cooperative affiliation, providing a structure for bilateral faculty and student exchange, team-teaching, joint research and publication projects, cooperative mission ventures, and digital resource sharing.
The Center for the Study of World Christian Revitalization Movements to co-sponsor a Consultation in Nairobi, Kenya
Entitled, “New Cities, New Jerusalems: Emerging Patterns of Christian Identity in Urban East Africa,” the Consultation opens with a lecture by Emeritus Professor Paul Gifford of the Center for Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. The heart of the Consultation then consists of two days of intensive work by international, interdisciplinary teams of scholars and practitioners who will examine five case studies on current renewal movements in Nairobi (Kenya), Kampala (Uganda), and Bunia (Democratic Republic of Congo).
Seedbed to Publish second book from University Minister Guy Chmieleski

The B. L. Fisher Library at Asbury Theological Seminary is pleased to announce it has recently acquired the Bennis Collection, an Irish Methodist archive of original letters to and from Eliza Bennis.
