A Beeson International Center Initiative

Whether you are pursuing ordination or simply seeking to enrich your ministry knowledge, the Course of Study for Ministry Preparation supports ministers and lay leaders in deepening their faith and expanding their theological, missional, and formational understanding through transformative education.

Course Schedules and Certificates

Courses typically follow Asbury Theological Seminary’s academic calendar, with each semester divided into two seven-week terms. The course schedule is structured to allow completion of each certificate within one academic year. There is no limit to the number of courses you may take in a single term or semester, providing the flexibility to pursue multiple certificates at once. All courses are offered online and may be taken either as a stand-alone course or as part of a certificate. Please note that each course carries a workload comparable to a bachelor’s-level course or roughly two-thirds of a master’s-level course.
