Doctor of Ministry Program Launches New Fall 2021 Cohort

Published Date: March 1, 2021

Asbury Theological Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry program is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new cohort this fall, Exponential Multipliers, in partnership with Exponential, one of the largest gatherings of church planters in the world.

The Church needs leaders who are formed in its multiplicative origins, who embrace biblical-grounded adaptability and innovation for the 21st-century. The equipping of disciple-makers and multipliers, empowered afresh by the Holy Spirit, is precisely what is needed in order to reach our post-Christian cultural context. The Doctor of Ministry in Exponential Multipliers focuses on movement-oriented leadership dynamics and the mobilization of God’s people from a pioneering perspective.

During the online and intensive courses, students will rigorously immerse themselves in topics such as disciple-making ecosystems, mobilization of the priesthood of all believers, and the sending nature of God. In addition, students will also interact with
faculty and Exponential guest lecturers with expertise in the fields of church planting and multiplication, including: Ralph Moore, Rob Wegner, Brian Sanders, Obe Arellano, and others!

Applications are due by June 1st, 2021 for a Fall 2021 start. The in-person residency for this cohort will take place at the Exponential regional conference in Houston, TX from October 25- 28, 2021.
