We are proud of our alumni who are holding strong and doing all they can to prevent the spread of this virus for the sake of the world.

Some time ago I found this quote. “Every setback is merely a set up for a comeback.” What is happening in the world and to so many will be more than a “mere” setback. For some it is going to be a profound crisis and hardship. There will be forever change and loss in their lives. But setting the quote in the context of our faith and trust in God’s grace and presence gives a sense of hope for a come back. I believe hope can create courage for the presence and strength for a “comeback.”
Thank you Dr. Timothy Tennent and thanks Asbury Seminary. Always a proud Alumni. In Kenya the churches are shut . Transition to online church is not easy, partly because of gaps in technology reach and utilization and secondly because of our communal culture. It is hurting to say the least. We are still thinking and praying as we watch how the situation unfolds.
All our alumni and friends are in our prayers around the world right now. Maranatha!
Thanks so much Dr. Tennet for this profound message of hope and courage that is intended to strengthen our faith in times like these. In Liberia, churches are closed in obedience to Government’s regulations relevant to Corona virus for the last two weeks now, however thanks be to God that our faith in God is stronger than ever before. We will continue to trust in God to the end. Let’s keep one another in prayer.
