PART-TIME YOUTH PASTOR AT GCFVINEYARD (WILMORE, KY)
Purpose:
The Youth Pastor is responsible for designing, coordinating and overseeing a comprehensive youth ministry focused on inviting sixth through twelfth graders to life in the Kingdom of God. Areas of focus include Communion (Worship and Relationship with God), Community (Small Groups and Relationship with Others), Commission (Community Service and Cross-Cultural Ministry work).
Responsibilities:
- Educate and enlighten the congregation about the hopes, concerns and needs of the youth within the church and the community.
- Collaborate with other leaders, especially volunteer youth counselors and fellow staff members, to plan, develop and implement youth ministry.
- Build and sustain a motivated team of volunteer youth counselors.
- Recruit and train volunteer youth counselors.
- Ensure adequate volunteer support at all youth gatherings.
- Maintain accurate records of youth group attendance, especially sign-in and sign-out forms.
- Follow through on established sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Manage youth ministry budget and make recommendations for changes to youth ministry budget during each financial planning cycle.
- Communicate with church leadership, staff, parents and congregation in a timely manner through available resources (email, text, Weekly, social media, etc.)
- Maintain a flexible schedule that allows for pastoral visits with youth in a variety of ways (i.e., attending extra curricular activities, times of crisis, hang-outs, etc.)
- Collaborate with church staff in a cohesive and open team environment.
- Mentor youth toward maturity in Christ.
- Preach and teach theologically sound and appropriately Christian messages and studies at youth gatherings, and oversee others in the preaching and teaching ministry at youth events.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
- Regular and reliable attendance at youth events, weekly worship gatherings and weekly staff meetings is required.
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in youth mentoring, youth counseling, or youth development.
- Developing, organizing and effectively managing youth programs.
- Effectively working with children, teenagers, adults and diverse groups.
- Exhibiting a personal and growing relationship with God.
- Organizing volunteer efforts

OPEN PART-TIME POSITIONS AT RIVER CITY CHURCH (ST. CHARLES, IL)
River City Church is in need of a Worship Pastor and a Children’s Director/Pastor.
The Worship Director will work with the Lead Pastor, praise teams, and Worship Ministry Team to create God-glorifying worship experiences that invite participants into a deeper relationship with Christ.
- Make schedules for Sunday morning praise teams & sound (Projection and Livestream not included). Include special services (Christmas, Holy Week, Thanksgiving, etc.) in the schedule when applicable.
- Lead the congregation in worship on Sunday morning, and equip other team members to lead.
- Lead and/or oversee mid-week and Sunday morning rehearsals.

The Children’s Director/Pastor will oversee ministry for ages nursery through 5th grade. The responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a positive, open, and creative relationship with other staff members

Participate in staff and leadership retreats
ADMINISTRATION
Oversee Children’s church
Oversee and implement Sunday morning ministries and classes for K-5th
Oversee any mid-week activities for preschool through 5th grade
SHEPHERDING
Train adult leaders to serve in the children’s ministry
Lead children to a saving relationship with Jesus
Meet with children about baptism (in partnership with parents)
Establish relationships with children and their families
EVENT PLANNING
Create and plan major events, such as Movie Nights, Mid-week ministry (When required), RiverCity Family Fest, Easter, etc. (with the help of staff and volunteers).

Fellowship UMC recently disaffiliated from the United Methodist organization, thus we lost our appointed pastor. We are a small congregation of 15-20 in Somerset, KY, in the Shopville area of Pulaski County, with the hopes of growing our congregation. Our church was founded in 1854, and has a wonderful history of Christian love and fellowship. PART-TIME MINISTER OF MUSIC AT PINCKARD BAPTIST CHURCH (PINCKARD, KY)
Principal Function:
The Minister of Music is a man with a calling and giftedness of God to lead and teach the Scriptures through songs, hymns, and spiritual songs. As a leader in the church, he must be full of the Spirit, and seek to live a holy and faithful life in Christ.
The Minister of Music is responsible to the Pastor for assisting the church in planning, conducting, and establishing a comprehensive music ministry.
The Minister of Music is responsible to the local church body through the church personnel committee for employment requirements and responsibilities.

Job Classification:
This position is an exempt (salaried) and a part-time position.
Working Relationships:
The Minister of Music works with the Pastor, Music/Worship Committee, Church Staff and other ministries of the church involving members and/or guests in singing and playing instruments in order to create an atmosphere of worship during services and special events.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the planning, coordination and establishment of a comprehensive Music Ministry including but not limited to the Praise Team, Musicians, Sound Personnel and Special Music for all services.
- In coordination with the pastor, be responsible for planning the music in all appropriate services. To prayerfully consider the sermon text, creating a song list that seeks to guide the worship according to those Scriptures. And relays such information to the church Secretary (for bulletin) as well as instrumentalists and sound personnel.
- Chair and work with Music/Worship Committee in determining music ministry goals, organization, leadership, facilities, musical instruments, sound equipment, administrative process and finances (which include preparation of an annual budget and stewardship thereof).
- Maintains pertinent records of meetings, choir roster, musicians, etc.
- Direct congregational singing at all services.
- Coordinate the performance schedules of music groups, instrumentalists and individuals.
- Plan & Coordinate the Music Ministry with the calendar and emphases of the church (i.e. Easter, Christmas, Communion, etc.)
- Be available to counsel, arrange and provide music for special projects, ministries, and other church-related activities and services.
- Work in cooperation with the appropriate persons, including the nominating committee, in selecting, enlisting, training, and advising song leaders, accompanists, and other musicians who serve in church program organizations.
- Supervise maintenance of and additions to music library (including copyright license & fees), equipment, music materials, supplies, instruments and other music equipment for use in the church’s program.
- Keep informed on current music methods, materials, promotion and administration, utilizing them where appropriate and attend music conferences/workshops periodically for continuing education purposes.
- Attends monthly staff meetings.
- Meet with the pastor on a regular basis.
- Comply with all established church policies and procedures as well as all applicable federal and state laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The position of Minister of Music:
- Must have a personal relationship and commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and must demonstrate the reality of that relationship and commitment through his attitude, character, life, and testimony.
- Requires commitment to biblical Christian principles & teachings both professionally & personally as stated and affirmed in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
- Displays a call of God into music ministry
- Exhibits a servant heart and attitude.
- Requires ability to listen effectively & to communicate clearly, both orally & in written form.
- Requires exceptional speaking skills & ability to speak confidently before groups.
- Requires quality leadership skills.

- Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.

In addition to the above requirements:
- Prefer 2-3 years of experience in a music church staff or other music-related position.
- Prefer a degree or pursuing a degree in Biblical Christian worship from an accredited Bible College or Seminary. Or similar degree from another school.
- Prefer ability to play the piano or other musical instrument.
- Prefer basic ability to use computer software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
