Rainier Avenue Church is a vibrant and multicultural Free Methodist congregation, located for over a century in the Rainier Valley neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Three core ideas illustrate our calling and identity: ethnic diversity, geographic location, and Christian faith.
We have an active youth group of over 40 youth who meet weekly on Wednesdays and twice a month for discussion during the adult Sunday worship service, and youth are also integrated into the adult worship service both participating and serving in a variety of roles, which is important to us as we seek to cultivate a strong intergenerational church family. We are also within walking distance of a middle school and a charter high school and eager to expand our connections in the neighborhood.
