Reflections on God’s Call
Are you, or someone you know, wrestling with God’s call? ATS alumnus (‘74) Larry D. Horton, Ph.D., recently offered some thoughtful reflections on the call of God on our lives. Along with sharing his encouraging words on social media, he was kind enough to share them with us, and anyone else who needs to hear them.
June 3, 2024: A Lifelong Call!
If you have ever felt called by God, by Jesus, by the voice of the Holy Spirit in your inner being, that call will never go away. You may turn your back on it temporarily, or permanently, but the call on your life will always be there. God, in His mercy through Jesus, can make that call live again in your life. All that is required is that you return to that call, full bore, no reservations, ready to walk the path again that God called you to years ago. Your call, to something special that God equipped you and formed you to fulfill, is still there. I urge you to take up that call again. Fulfill His plan, walk the path that He has always had in front of you. The world needs you to fulfill God’s call on your life. Return to it and be prepared to see God use you in ways you never dreamed possible. All for His Glory!
