Youth Becoming Leaders
Dr. Jim Hampton, Professor of Youth Ministry, is helping lead a Lilly-funded youth experience this summer which is sponsored by and housed on the campus of Asbury University. “Youth Becoming Leaders” is a two-week camp for high school students that will specifically focus on helping them learn how to become a Christian leader in their church and community. We will focus together on vocational discernment, spiritual formation, and theological inquiry, all with the goal of having the student complete a community action project in their hometown.
This is an excellent opportunity for those students in your ministry who might have a call to ministry or simply desire to be used by God. The instruction will be world-class, the discussions will be rich, and the opportunity to engage with other like-minded students will be invaluable in helping them develop as leaders.
