Will there be a commencement program available?

Yes.  The commencement program will be posted on the Asbury Theological Seminary website.  Kentucky and Florida Commencements each have their own programs. Graduates will also receive a copy the day of their ceremony. Each absentia graduate will also receive a copy of the commencement program by mail.

Will I receive my diploma at commencement?

Diplomas will not be in the covers received at commencement.  When all grades are entered and records are cleared, degrees will be posted to transcripts and diplomas mailed.  Please allow four to six weeks processing time from the end of the term in which you graduate.  Doctoral graduates’ diploma mailings can take considerably longer due to dissertation processing. If you have a Business Office hold, your diploma will be released once we receive notification from the Business Office that your account has been paid in full. Please confirm that our office has an accurate address on file prior to the end of your last term to ensure that your diploma is received.  Address changes should be submitted in the Student Portal under My Profile/My Information/Addresses/Request New Address.

If I am graduating in absentia, how will I get my diploma cover?

Diploma covers for absentia graduates will be mailed out at the end of June to those graduates not attending a ceremony in person.

How do I update my address?

Please update your address through the student portal or by emailing the Registrar’s Office from your Asbury Seminary email address at registrar@asburyseminary.edu.   You will also be receiving a Bible, swag, and information about your Alumni benefits from the Alumni office.  Please contact the Alumni office at alumni@asburyseminary.edu with any changes to your mailing address to prevent a delay in receiving your graduation gifts.
