Florida Dunnam Campus
The Florida Dunnam Campus is located in the heart of Central Florida in Orlando, where worlds collide, cultures mix and diversity is a fact of life. The School of Urban Ministries on the Florida Dunnam Campus provides you with a foundation for ministry through a transformative, effective and sustainable response to God’s call to ministry in metropolitan areas and beyond.
Faculty from diverse backgrounds, with rich ministerial experience and theological training will guide your education as you learn to proclaim and live out the Gospel in the shifting contexts of our increasingly urbanized, globalized and technologically adaptive world. If you choose the Florida Dunnam campus, you will encounter innovative and passionate teachers and mentors, transformative worship in chapel, and a loving community of learners committed to advancing the Christ following movement in the world.
The Latino/Latina Ministry Formation Program (LMFP) and the Harry Hoosier Institute are two of the uniquely distinctive resources offered to students on our campus. The LMFP program was created to meet the educational needs of Hispanic church leaders through a certificate program. The Harry Hosier Institute, dedicated on February 3, 2013, exists to lay the foundation for making known the rightful place of Rev. “Black Harry” Hoosier as a great Black, founding father of American Methodism and to house the Black Studies program for Asbury Seminary.

Community Formation and Chapel
What makes Asbury Seminary stand apart? Asbury Seminary is a community marked by formation. Seminary is not just about academic things you learn; it is also about learning spiritual disciplines and observing ministry in action. It is about coming together for corporate worship, living in community and spiritual formation. We are constantly striving toward wholeness and holiness. Often, that is shaped through the rich fellowship of community and our internal spiritual growth.
On the Florida campus, students, faculty and staff gather together for weekly chapel services and community meals. It is just one of the many ways we do life together on our campus while caring and supporting each individual pursuing God’s call on their life.
