Preaching and Leading for Women in Ministry

God calls all to salvation, and God calls all into service in the Kingdom. Women, just as much as men, are called and gifted and empowered for ministry–yet many times Women face issues and challenges unique to them in service to Jesus and his Church. The Preaching and Leading for Women in Ministry Cohort takes these realities seriously and provides a place where leaders can be exposed not only to best practices in the area of preaching and leading, but also how to correct some of those historic challenges. This cohort will expose its members to the leading edge in preaching and leading from some scholars and practitioners who do both well.

Your cohort will tackle current challenges such as:

  • The intersection between spiritual formation, leadership, and the dynamic witness of preaching
  • Contextually relevant ways to communicate with people inside and outside the faith community
  • Biblically-informed principles that shape leadership skills of vision, mobilization, and organizational development

As you complete your degree, you will:

  • Enter in a space that invites reflection and conversation
  • Engage in robust academics, research, and writing
  • Experience meaningful, vibrant, spiritually formed relationships
  • Explore relevant and adaptive ministry perspectives and practices
  • Enhance local/global ministry capacities
