Alumni and Friends Global Day of Prayer
We would like to invite all alumni and friends to participate in a Global Day of Prayer! It will take place on Monday, September 4th (Labor Day). The Day of Prayer will conclude with the Opening Chapel Convocation for the Fall semester on Tuesday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m. EST. We invite all of our alumni and friends to live-stream into the chapel service that day!
We desire to pray specifically for the global church, those who are being persecuted around the world, and Asbury Seminary’s faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends. We know the incredible power of prayer and are so excited for what God is going to do through our united prayers!
Please let us know if you will be participating in the Global Day of Prayer by signing up below:
Oh – Wonderful and Amazing God! How tender you are towards your blushing Bride, Your Church, even with her torn and dirty gown. Transform and make over us with Your refreshing and pure covering – so the world may truly witness your arms of love, forgiveness and holiness.
Be with those who are brutally persecuted and allow them to especially experience Your divine protection and almighty power. Holy Spirit, please cause those who are the blinded persecutors to drop to their knees with adoration and wonderment over’What Kind of God is this? I must worship this God!”
Finally – bless the faculty, students, family and friends of Asbury. May your mighty wind of revival blow across the land, so we are renewed, restored and radically relevant.
Only through, with and by the most powerful name of all – Jesus! Amen.
An important of my daily prayers is to is pray for the global ministry of Asbury. It is a great joy to see the wonderful way God continues to transform lives through the Gospel of Jesus faithfully proclaimed by Asbury and its graduates.
I truly concur with this sincere and powerful prayer.
Thank you Dr. Tennet for enhancing ATS’s world vision for the lost. We are with you in the Spirit. As E. Stanley Jones reminded us with his three lifted fingers years ago when he met with us on campus, “Jesus is Lord.”
Looking forward to join my Asbury’ family in prayer!!! Lord hear our prayers!!!
We will be on road that day, but will be one in the spirit of prayer! Thank you for organizing this! The answer our prayers! Amen!
We will be on road that day, but will be one in the spirit of prayer! Thank you for organizing this! Lord in your mercy, hear our prayers! Amen!
Thank you Dr. Tennent for calling us together for a global day of prayer. This is probably the best way for our alumni to be one in Christ and be a blessing to many around the world. I will be traveling in Pennsylvania for a family reunion and Asbury Ambassador work, but will stop to pray on September 4th.
I consider this as a privilege to join with ATS family to pray on the Global Day of Prayer. My wife Mrs. Kezia Jasmine joins to pray with me for the cause. Thank you!
This kind of confluence of prayer is absolutely timely! May the God of all flesh and nations hear us from heaven, forgive our sin, heal our land, strengthen the persecuted church, and restore us. Amen!
I WILL take care Asbury Theological Seminary with my daily prayers. Our seminary is in the hands of God Almighty, leaving a legacy that is kingdom-shaped.
Excited about the chapel service on Sept. 5 but don’t know how to livestream. Please send instructions. Thank you. Grace and peace!
I touch and agree with you in prayer. I declare in the Almighty Name of Jesus that, “God has already fully satisfied every need of Asbury, it’s faculty, students, family and friends.” I further declare in accordance with God’s Word that, “This is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.” Hallelujah! In Jesus name! Amen.
Thank you Dr. Tennent for calling the A.T. S. family to pray. I will be joining with others. With prayer our world will be changed and many will come to faith in Christ.
I will be praying for the Asbury alumni, staff and students that the Lord will continue to bless them to be servants of God and humanity, that through their faithful witness many lives will be tranformed.
Praying for the students from across the globe who are starting fall classes. The world needs the life-changing, compassionate Gospel of Jesus. May our students continue to live the Good News through their words and deeds. Lord, sustain their families. Clarify the calling of students who are discerning their future. Give confidence to the hesitant. We praise you O God for the joy of Kingdom work. Glory to your name, forever and ever. Amen.
Thank you for the privilege to pray for those who are committed to serving God through devoting their lives to His ministry. I also pray for God’s hand of protection on the persecuted church throughout the world. May the work of ATS be especially blessed as they strive to be a blessing to others.
I consider it a privilege to pray for Asbury Seminary. Lord I thank you for this Seminary and the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the hearts of all that are a part of it from the leadership and for all those that have been trained for ministry through ATS. My husband and I have had the privilege of attending a number of events given by them. You have used ATS to enrich our relationship with you. We continue to be blessed by alumni that have served our church. I pray your continued guidance for A TS.
It is a joy to be part of those praying for our world, our nation and Asbury and its global ministry for His Kingdom!
Will be happy to join in for the Global Day of Prayer!
