Class of 1969 Returns to Asbury for Golden Graduate Weekend
We are excited to honor and welcome back to campus this year’s Golden Graduates Class of ’69 for a fun filled weekend on May 17th! This year we invited 67 total graduates with 34 responding and 27 attending.

11:30 a.m. – Golden Graduates’ Lunch
Cordelia A & B Dining Rooms
1:30 p.m – Class of ’69 photo
John Wesley statue (weather permitting)
5:30 p.m. – Golden Graduates’ Dinner
Main Dining Hall
Honoring fifty-year graduates.
7:30 p.m. – Graduates and Families Worship Service
All graduates and their family and friends gather for worship, Holy Communion, and a message from Dr. Tennent, President of Asbury Theological Seminary.
The excitement continues on Saturday, May 18, as our Golden Graduates will be a part of the Spring 2019 commencement ceremony being held at Asbury University by walking in with our graduates during the processional. Doors open for the ceremony at 10a.m. at the Luce Center. The ceremony begins promptly at 11 a.m.

We are praying for safe travels as these 27 make their way to Wilmore for a time of fellowship and reunion. We are excited to welcome them back on campus to experience the love that floods here in our Asbury community. Asbury for life!
