PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES WITH BLESSED EARTH IN LEXINGTON, KY
Blessed Earth is a nonprofit ministry that inspires faithful stewardship of all creation. We are looking for two part-time employees to join our team. Both positions are based in Lexington, KY, and will operate remotely, with in-person meetings approximately every other week. Each position requires approximately 20-25 hours per month, with flexible hours. Must be able to start employment no later than the end of May. The two positions can be combined for someone with the right skill sets and experience.
Event Manager
This role manages logistics and plans for speaking engagements both in person and online.
Specific tasks for this role include:
• Planning logistics for interviews and events from beginning to end
• Coordinating travel for events
• Managing travel calendar
• Managing and maintaining PR assets as needed for events
• Ordering books and DVDs as needed for events
• Keeping event list on Matthewsleethmd.com up to date
Tech & Digital Media Manager
This role is responsible for keeping all websites, social media handles, and digital content up to date. Specific responsibilities include:
• Posting, maintaining and responding to social media communication
• Maintaining matthewsleethmd.com, blessedearth.org, and sabbathliving.org websites
• Managing 1Password, GoDaddy, Constant Contact and Siteground accounts
• Serving as tech support for leadership team
• Creating graphics as needed for events, web, and social media posts.
• Managing billing accounts for online tools
• Formatting and distributing Blessed Earth newsletters
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• At least three years of related professional experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Computer and technical competencies
• Self starter and able to work independently
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through
• Strong commitment to biblical principles
• Concurrence with Blessed Earth’s code of conduct and statement of faith
