ATS ALUM NAMED VICE PRESIDENT AT NORTHEASTERN SEMINARY

Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College announces the appointment of Dr. Benjamin Espinoza as its new vice president. Espinoza holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education with a graduate certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies from Michigan State University. He received a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Cedarville University.
Rev. Dr. Espinoza is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church and has several years of experience as a youth pastor, community life pastor, college pastor, and lead pastor. He is the editor of Story, Formation, and Culture: From Theory to Practice in Ministry with Children (Pickwick, 2018) and the forthcoming Theology and the Star Wars Universe (Lexington/Fortress Academic). He has published articles and reviews in several publications.
Dr. Espinoza serves as the Associate Director of Curricular Planning for the Spanish Ministry Education & Formation department of The Wesleyan Church, on the board of directors for the Association of Youth Ministry Educators and Teaching Like Jesus Ministries, as an interim editorial committee member of the Association for Hispanic Theological Education, and as the senior associate editor of the Journal of Youth Ministry.
