WILMORE, KY—Asbury Theological Seminary welcomes world renowned Bible scholar N. T. Wright to their Wilmore campus November 15-17, 2022. Wright is coming as part of the Seminary’s series of centennial celebration events that began in September 2022 and will continue through December 2023. He will be giving the chapel address each day in Estes Chapel at 11:00 a.m. There are also three more opportunities to hear him speak: Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. for a lecture and Q &A in Estes Chapel; Wednesday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m. for a Biblical Studies Seminar in McKenna Chapel on the campus of Asbury Seminary, and Wednesday evening, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. for a lecture in Hughes Auditorium on the campus of Asbury University. All events are free and the public is welcome to attend, but seating is limited with first-come, first-served. The chapel services as well as the Tuesday and Wednesday evening lectures will also be livestreamed at asbury.to/live.

N. T. Wright is the former Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and one of the world’s leading Bible scholars. He is now the Emeritus Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews and serves as Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University. He has been featured on ABC News, Dateline, The Colbert Report, and Fresh Air. Wright is the award-winning author of over 80 books, including “Paul: A Biography”, “Simply Christian”, “Surprised by Hope”, “The Day the Revolution Began”, “Simply Jesus”, “After You Believe”, “Scripture and the Authority of God”, and the ‘Everyone’ series of New Testament Commentaries.
